Wittenberg Basketball Games Postponed Due To Winter Storm

Springfield, Ohio — A men's and women's basketball doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Wittenberg University's Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Center has been postponed due to the lingering effects of a major winter storm that struck Ohio late Monday night.

The Tiger women's basketball team was scheduled to play a key North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) game against Kenyon College at 6 p.m., while the sixth-ranked Tiger men were slated to tip off against Wabash College at 8 p.m., or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's games. The entire event has been moved to Thursday, Feb. 15, at the same time.

The Tiger women are 13-9 overall and 10-4 in the NCAC, good for second place. Kenyon is 9-5 in the conference, and the Ladies already have a win over Wittenberg in the 2006-07 season.

The Tiger men are 20-3 overall and 12-2 in the NCAC, also good for second place. Wabash is 6-8 in the conference.
