Wittenberg Bounces Back With NCAC Win At Oberlin

OBERLIN, Ohio - The Wittenberg women's basketball team rebounded from a tough loss Wednesday at Kenyon with a 71-61 victory over the Oberlin Yewomen.

The Tigers improved to 11-8 overall and 7-3 in the North Coast Athletic Conference. Wittenberg's next contest will be Tuesday, Feb. 1, against Ohio Wesleyan in a game that is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. in the HPER Center. The Tigers and Bishops are tied with Denison for second place in the NCAC standings.

Wittenberg dominated the first half, leading Oberlin 42-25 at the end of the first period and continued that lead for the rest of the game, although the Tigers never managed to put the game away.
