Springfield, OH -- The Wittenberg Tiger Softball team fell in their home opener in 10 innings, 5-3, to the Alma College Scots. Despite holding a narrow, 3-1, lead heading into the top of the seventh inning, on the heels of a nine-strikeout performance by Kira van Ravensberg. Wittenberg tallied eight hits in the first game before the second game was called off due to darkness.
