SPRINGFIELD, Ohio—Wittenberg stayed the course and remained unblemished in NCAC play on Sunday afternoon, as the Tigers walked off against OWU in game one, and came back to win in game two. The Tigers 3-2 and 6-5 victories were hard-fought, as Wittenberg improved to 16-4 overall in 2017.
GAME ONE SCORING BREAKDOWN
BOTTOM 3rd
- In the bottom of the frame, Wittenberg's starting pitcher, Chelsea Zang, sent a shot deep to center field, plating the Tiger's shortstop, Olivia Hopkins.
Bottom 7th
- Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th inning, freshman Wendy Hawk slapped a single to right-field, as Elyssa Labine and Lauren Buelow both scurried home, giving the Tigers the walk-off win.
GAME TWO SCORING BREAKDOWN

- Buelow broke the ice for the Tigers in game two, as the sophomore singled back up the box, plating senior Abby Baker on the play.

- Baker followed up for the Tigers with a double to left-field, as Hawk and Missy Lee scored.
