Tigers Take One of Two at Rebel Games

KISSIMMEE, Fla.- Wittenberg enjoyed a two-game winning streak for the first time in the young season after topping Defiance, 3-2. Later in the day, however, the Red and White once again went silent at the dish in a 3-0 loss to Simpson.

Junior Cameron Catalfu (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland) drove in one the Tigers' three runs in the opener, striking in her only plate appearance. Freshman Jessica Snyder (Northfield, Ill./New Trier) also punched home a run in the contest.

Game 2 found another afternoon of tough-going for the Tigers at the plate. Senior Brooke Boswell (Hamilton, Ohio/Fairfield) collected one of the two hits in the nightcap.

With the trip winding down, the Red and White play their final contests in Florida against Emmanuel and Benedictine, 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. meetings respectively, on Friday, March 13.
