Kolka Leads Tigers To Fourth Place Finish At 2022 Wittenberg Invite

The Wittenberg Men and Women's Cross Country Teams competed at home from the Clark County Fairground hosting their home invitational. The Tigers and their fellow competitors had a day full of beautiful weather, fast times, and outstanding team efforts. The women's team secured a second-place finish to start the day with the men's team securing a fourth-place finish.

The men were led by Sophomore Conor Kolka with a second-place finish, running a time of 26:07.8. Kolka continues to go into his races confident, composed, and ready to get the work done. Kolka had an impressive Freshmen Year with the running Tigers, breaking multiple records for cross-country and during his track season. Crossing the line next for Wittenberg was Lucas Eisele running a time of 27:56.9 for his first collegiate 8k. Following close behind was Sophomore Adam Arndt, Arndt finishing with a time of 28:20.6. Along with Junior Peter Caine with a time of 28:21.5. Senior Dak Smith finished the day off with a time of 28:55.8, along Baylee Jost, running an overall time of 28:59.1.
