Springfield, OH -- The men's volleyball team hosted the Mount Union Purple Raiders Saturday afternoon, falling 3-1 (22-25, 20-25, 25-20, 20-25). The Tigers were tested in their defense, collecting 55 total digs, 17 from senior Russ Burke and 11 from graduate Aaron Giorgi. Giorgi also pushed the offense, with 39 of the 48 total assists. Burke led the front pressure with 45 total attack attempts with 16 successul, and junior Dominic Melchiorre not far behind with 44 attempts and 18 successful of the 53 total successful kills.
The Tigers will be back in action at home versus the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors Monday, March 14, at 7:00 p.m.
