Tough Road Match Leads to Tiger Loss

St. Louis, MO -- The men's volleyball team traveled to Fontbonne in St. Louis, Missouri to take on the Griffins where they fell 3-0 (18-25, 8-25, 22-25). The Tigers struggled to get their footing, collecting 29 total successful kills with 88 attempts. Junior Dominic Melchiorre carried the offense with 10 kills with graduate Aaron Giorgi supporting the front with 24 assists and two blocks. This was a defensive match, the Tigers tallying 20 digs, five from Melchiorre and five from junior Chris Goertz with four other Tigers getting touches in the back row. 

The Tigers are back at home for the Wittenberg Triangular February, 27 versus Marian at 11 a.m. and versus Trine at 3 p.m.
