Tigers Fall in Three Sets to Juniata

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Wittenberg men's volleyball returned to action for their first road trip of the year, as the Tigers squared off against Juniata on their home floor on Friday night. The Tigers hung tight with the national powerhouse early on, but could not keep up with the Eagles, falling 3-0; 25-23, 25-14, and 25-20.

 MATCH NOTES
  • Dylan Kolovitz continued to lead the Tigers attack, as the sophomore from Chicago tallied 13 kills to lead all players on Friday night.  
  • Despite leading the first wet 21-20, Wittenberg struggled defensively, only tallying 17 digs in the match, as Ross Russell, Jackson Tyler, and Nathan Matthews each recorded three.
  • Juniata slugged a kill-percentage of .500 in set number two, as the home team recorded 13 kills in the set.
  • The home team also got it done from the service line over the Tigers, recording eight service aces to the Tigers one.
