DELAWARE, Ohio – The Tigers traveled to Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday, where the yearly All-Ohio Invitational was being held. Competition in attendance included all NCAA Division III schools across the state, a couple being some of the top teams in the country. The Tigers didn't back down, ending the day with several top finishes, along with the women placing seventh of 17 and the men at eighth of 17.

WOMEN'S TOP 8'S

• The 200 meter dash featured both Tyra Barnes and Samantha Mitchell in the top eight, finishing second at 26.02 seconds and eighth at 26.85 seconds respectively.
• Barnes didn't stop after the 200, placing second again in the 400 meter dash at 57.22 seconds. Close behind was fellow Tiger Alaina Longshore coming in at 59.41 for fifth place.
• Alexis Gray, freshman, finished fourth with a time of 2:21.96 in the 800 meter run.
• Senior Hannah Meier took sixth in the challenging 10,000 meter run, wrapping up with a time of 44:09.42.
• After qualifying for the finals as the fifth seed in the 100 meter hurdles, junior Olivia Stevens raced her way to a third place finish with a time of 15.38 seconds.
• Afterwards, Stevens claimed eighth in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.51.
• In the 4x100 meter relay, a team consisting of Tiarra Avant, Barnes, Longshore, and Mitchell raced their way around the track for a second place finish, clocking in at 49.02 seconds.
• Barnes, Gray, Longshore, and Katelyn McCohn claimed a first place victory in the 4x400 meter relay. Their time of 3:56.06 beat out the previous meet record, which was set only last year by Wittenberg.
• Placing fourth in javelin, senior Frankie Bowsher threw a distance of 34.74 meters.
• Gabrielle Draginoff broke the school record in pole vault, reaching a height of 3.27 meters.

MEN'S TOP 8'S

• After qualifying for the finals, freshman Tyler Branton took a fifth place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.92 seconds.
• Senior Cody Shutt came in a close second at 48.95 seconds in the 400 meter dash, beaten out by a close hundredth of a second.
• Kenny Mayes took on the 800 meter run, placing seventh with a time of 1:58.19.
• The 10,000 meter run showcased sophomore Charles Rodeheffer snd senior Jon Osman, finishing first with a time of 33:57.74 and fifth at 34:58.22 respectively.
• Both qualifying for the finals in the 110 meter hurdles, Kyle Farnbauch and Tyler Gittins finished seventh and eighth, clocking in at 15.36 and 15.46 seconds respectively.
• Gittins claimed a first place victory in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 53.61 seconds, beating out a Wilmington hurdler by a hundredth of a second.
• The 4x100 meter relay team consisting of Branton, Matt Entsminger, Marcus O'Neal, and Brandon Johnson took fourth with a time of 42.83 seconds.
• Gittins, Ryan Hale, Mayes, and Shutt combined to create the 4x400 relay team that claimed third with a time of 3:19.48.
• Vaulting a height if 4.14 meters, freshman Jardyan Mitchem tied for sixth in pole vault.

The Tigers will travel to Ohio Northern University on Saturday, April 22 to compete in the Polar Bear Invite.
