DAYTON — The Wittenberg men's tennis team split a doubleheader with Lourdes and Capital on Sunday. The Tigers opened the day with a 9-0 defeat to Lourdes but rebounded for a 9-0 win over Capital.
The Basics

- The Tigers opened the match by winning all three doubles courts.
- Libby and senior Fout won 8-6 at No. 1 doubles.
- Trinka and Smith-Heston won 8-2 at No. 2 doubles.
- Bennett and Van den Eerenbeemt won 8-2 at No. 3 doubles.
- Wittenberg proceeded to sweep all six singles courts.
- Libby won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
