TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The Wittenberg men's tennis team opened the spring portion of its 2023-24 schedule with a 9-0 loss at Rose-Hulman on Saturday afternoon.
The Basics

- Rose-Hulman opened by winning all three doubles courts.
- Junior Ethan Libby (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland) and senior Kyle Fout (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) fell 7-8 (2-7) at No. 1 doubles, freshmen Jacob Bennett (Pickerington, Ohio/Central) and Sven Van den Eerenbeemt (S-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands/Gymnasium Beekvliet) fell 3-8 at No. 2 doubles, and junior Mark Trinka (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park and River Forest) and freshman Henry Smith-Heston (Yellow Springs, Ohio/Yellow Springs) fell 1-8 at No. 3 doubles.

- Trinka fell 2-6, 1-6 at No. 2 singles.
- Bennett withdrew at No. 3 singles.
