Cedarville, OH -- Wittenberg travelled to Cedarville University in a match against the Yellow Jackets. The Tigers were able to keep the competition flowing, but came up short of a victory against the Yellow Jackets. Doubles team Connor Ruble and Brayden Kopp came out with a victory (6-3), but were not able to gain enough momentum for the rest of the team and they would both then lose their singles matches. Kopp would fall 6-1 and 6-1, whereas Ruble would in his first set, but would fall in the next two, 6-3 and 8-10.

Senior Joe Patton pushed for a third set, falling 6-2 then 5-7. Sophomore Kyle Fout would win his first set 6-4, losing his second 6-1, then lost the overall mathup in a retirement loss. 

The Tigers will at home for the frst time on their new courts Wednesday, September 22 for a rematch against Cedarville.
