Springfield, Ohio – The Wittenberg University Men's Tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision against DePauw in an NCAC West division match on Friday afternoon at Springfield High School. The Tigers now own an overall record of 9-7 on the year, with an 0-3 mark in NCAC West play.

Who Stood Out

After dropping all three doubles matches, Wittenberg fought hard in the singles portion of the match with two individual wins. Senior Timmy McNulty picked up the first win in the fourth singles flight with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Alex Bertolini, while classmate Martin Mora grinded out a 3-6, 6-2, 10-7 come-from-behind win over Greg Frauenheim in the top singles flight.

The Tigers will close out NCAC West play tomorrow (4/13) with a 10:00 a.m. home match against Wabash, before hitting the road on Sunday (4/14) for a 4:00 p.m. match at NCAA Div. I Wright State.
