SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — The Wittenberg Tigers put the finishing touches on the 2005-06 season with a 1-2 record at the 2006 North Coast Athletic Conference Championship Tournament. The Tigers, seeded sixth after the regular season, lost in the opening round to third-seeded Allegheny, defeated seventh-seeded Earlham and then capped the season with a 4-1 loss to fifth-seeded Oberlin.
The Wittenberg University men's and women's tennis teams have a great deal of talent and experience, which Head Coach Dave Engle hopes will develop into a winning combination by the end of the 2005-06 season.
