Fine Finale As Tiger Swimming & Diving Celebrates Winning Senior Day

Springfield, Ohio - The Wittenberg men's and women's swimming and diving teams enjoyed a special Senior Day with a pair of dual meet victories over Hanover. The Tiger women celebrated the career of Mackenzie Schuld () with a 118-23 win over the Panthers, while the Tiger men celebrated the career of Zach Parkman (Lancaster, OH / Fisher Catholic) with an 85-23 win.

Individual winners for the Tiger women were:

  • Addy Payne (Sidney, OH / Sidney) in the 1000-yard freestyle,
  • McKenna Clark (Waynesville, OH / Carroll) in the 200-yard freestyle, the 500-yard freestyle,
  • Shania Stone (Cincinnati, OH / Princeton) in the 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle,
  • Schuld in the 200-yard Individual Medley, the 100-yard butterfly,
  • Rebekah Lebold (Mount Vernon, OH / Mount Vernon) in the 1-meter diving,
  • Sophie Paskiet (Toledo, Ohio/St. Ursula) in the 100-yard breaststroke,

Individual winners for the Tiger men were:

  • Jon Wasky (Kettering, OH / Fairmont) in the 200-yard freestyle,
  • Mason Steen ( Leroy, OH / Riverside) in the 50-yard freestyle,
  • Parkman in the 200-yard Individual Medley, the 100-yard butterfly,
  • Owen Gabel (New Bremen, OH / New Bremen) in the 100-yard freestyle,
  • Aidan Dannenfelser (Cincinnati, OH / St. Xavier) in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The Tigers now have a few weeks of training to prepare for the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships, which will take place February 14-17 at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
