Tiger Swimming & Diving Splits Dual Meet At Anderson

Anderson, Indiana - The final dual meet of the fall portion of the 2023-24 season took place at Anderson University. The Wittenberg came home with a split in the competition as the women won 109-82 and the men were defeated 135-61.

The Tigers claimed 12 event wins, and 11 swimmers and divers posted personal-best performances in the meet. After a short Thanksgiving break, the teams will be back in the pool for busy week that concludes with the Wooster Invitational on December 2-3.

The win for the women was powered by strong finishes by its divers, freshman Rebekah Lebold (Mount Vernon, Ohio/Mount Vernon) and sophomore Macy DeHart (Springfield, Ohio/Kenton Ridge), who swept first and second, respectively, in both competitions.

Other first-place finishes for the Tiger women were sophomore Shania Stone (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton), who finished first in the 200 free and 100 free, freshman Sophie Paskiet (Toledo, Ohio/St. Ursula), who finished first in the 200 IM and 200 breast, junior Jenna Hallett, who took the top spot in the 50 free, and senior Mackenzie Schuld (Rocky River, Ohio/Rocky River), who touched first in the 200 fly. In addition, Wittenberg women's showed the way in the 200 free relay and the medley relay.

For Wittenberg's men, senior Zach Parkman (Lancaster, Ohio/Fisher Catholic) won the 200 fly.
