Tigers Traveled to Centre for Dual Meet

Danville, KY -- The Tigers traveled to Centre College to take on the Colonels in a dual meet. Through 26 events, the women scored 59 to Centre's 158 and the men scored 46, Centre with 155. Standouts came from senior Emma Hellman who set a new school record in the one meter 11-dive competition with a score of 442.10. This is also an NCAA DIII regional qualifying score. Hellman also won the 6-dive one meter dive with 250.70. On the men's side, Zach Parkman pulled in a first place finish in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:28.64. Parkman maintained a small first place averaging one second faster to the second place finisher before pulling away in the last stretch with a big six-second separation between him and Centre's second place finisher. Wittenberg totaled six first place finishes with three second place finishes.

Notable finishes and times include:

Quaid O'Brien finished first in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:02.04. This is his first time competing in this race

Bridget Logan finished first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.89, pulling away in the final 10 yards. Logan also finished second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.68

Mackenzie Schuld dominated the 500-yard freestyle coming in first with a time of 5:36.25 leading the entire race. Schuld also came in third with a time of 1:05.82 in the 100-yard butterfly

Parker Roach finished the 100-yard breaststroke in second with a time of 1:05.91. This is three seconds faster than his time at Transylvania. Roach also came in third in the 200-yard frestyle timing out at 1:58.49

Parkman came in second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:01.42

Abby Dunasky finished the 200-yard freestyle in third with a time of 2:15.64. Finishing in third, Dunasky came in with a time of 5:32.47 in the 400-yard individual medley

- Finishing third in the 200-yard freestyle relay, Anthony PetruzziDoug HeightonParkman and O'Brien came in with a time of 1:41.16

The Tigers will be back in the water hosting Ohio Wesleyan Saturday, November 13 at 1 p.m.
