Wittenberg Men's Swimming Take Hiram After Winter Training Trip

Hiram, Ohio – Men's Swimming and Diving finished in the top spot at the Hiram College dual meet this weekend. Wittenberg earned 119 points, compared to the Terriers 47 points at the end of the single day meet.

The Tigers saw top finishes from multiple competitors, including Tucker Daniel (Columbia City, Ind. / Columbia City) who brought back a big 400 meter freestyle win for Wittenberg.

WOMEN'S TOP FINISHES

  • Wittenberg saw success early and often starting with the 200 meter medley relay, consisting of Steve Stuthers (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Central Catholic), Kyle Smith (Springboro, Ohio / Springboro), Andrew Tengen (Cincinnati, Ohio / Walnut Hills) and Paul Salay (Glenview, Ill. / Glenbrook South).
  • Tucker Daniel added a second place finish in the 200 meter freestyle finishing seconds behind Sean Oberschlake (Columbus, Ohio / Grandview).
  • Both Drew Pool (Eaton, Ohio / Eaton) and Thomas Chuna (Kettering, Ohio / Fairmont) brought back top finishes in the diving portion of the day for the Tigers.
