Michael Lambeck returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach in 2013 following a standout career in the Red & White. He served as an assistant in the program for three seasons.

A four-year letterwinner from 2008 to 2011, Lambeck was named team MVP in 2010 while garnering first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference and All-Ohio recognition, and appeared again on the All-Ohio squad in 2011 on the third team. His career total of 315 saves ranks second in school history.

Lambeck is currently the goalkeeper for the Zanesville Athletic FC, which celebrated its inaugural season as a member of the National Professional Soccer League in 2013.

Prior to returning to Wittenberg, Lambeck served as an assistant coach with the University of Akron's women's soccer team during the 2012 season, where his responsibilities included recruiting and scouting.

Lambeck has also coached goalkeepers with Akron's men's soccer team summer camps, Wittenberg's Buckeye Soccer Camps, Team Ohio FC, Team Dayton, and girls' U-9 through U-17 with the Internationals Soccer Club in Akron.

Lambeck graduated from Wittenberg in 2012 with a bachelor of arts in sociology. He resides in Dublin, Ohio.
