Josh Stocker joined the Tiger men’s soccer coaching staff prior to the 2012 season after spending the previous year as a volunteer assistant at Otterbein University.

At Otterbein, Stocker worked primarily with goalkeepers, while he also assisted with daily training sessions, film review and recruiting. Before joining the staff at Otterbein, Stocker spent two seasons at Bradley High School in Hilliard, Ohio, where he served as the head coach of the junior varsity team and an assistant with the varsity program. He led the JV team to a 10-1-4 record in 2010, while the varsity team went 13-5-1 overall and reached the district championship game.

Stocker also has two seasons of experience as the varsity assistant coach at Canal Winchester High School in 2006 and 2007.

A 2005 graduate of Miami University (Ohio), where he earned a bachelor’s of science in business, Stocker holds coaching licenses from the United States Soccer Federation and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. In addition to 100 total hours of instruction completed for the Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA, Stocker holds a Regional Goalkeeping Diploma.

Stocker has extensive experience coaching youth, including one year as a staff coach/trainer with Hilliard FC and two years with Club Ohio Soccer, Inc., in Dublin. He currently coaches boys teams at the U13 and U16 age groups, with the latter turning in a perfect league record for spring 2012.
