Tigers Record Third Shutout Win of Season

Springfield, OH-The Men's Soccer team took on the Wabash College Little Giants with the goal to keep their NCAC Playoff hopes alive. The Tigers came away with a 2-0 win to stay in the hunt. 

In the first half, Jack Pascoal scored just over 25 minutes in from an assist from Nick Harding and Cameron Elliot. Then, only 5 minutes into the second half, Elliot found the back of the net on a penalty shot. The Tigers defense held up throughout the game as well to shut out the Little Giant attack as well. 

Leaders-Cole Lewis led the team with three shots and 6 different players had a shot on goal. Elliot and Harding each logged one assist in the game and Sam Nitzberg saved all five shots against him on the match. 

Notables-Wittenberg lead in shots 10-6, but were behind in corners, 3-5. Throughout the game, Wabash earned four cards, starting with three yellows and in the 80th minute, one of the Little Giants was given a red card.
