Tigers Fall in Close Match

Delaware, OH-The Men's Soccer team traveled to Delaware to take on the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops and came up just short with a 2-1 loss. 

After the first half, Ohio Wesleyan was only up 1-0 and extended the lead to two shortly into the second. Later in the half, the Tigers answered with Jackson Miller finding Kees Ciric down the field, and Ciric cut the deficit in half, but the scoring ended there. 

Leaders-Nick Harding led in shots with 5 and Cameron Elliott led in shots on goal with 2. In goal, Peter Adams saved 4 shots against him. 

Notables-Both teams each had 14 shots and the Tigers led in corners taken, 2-0. 

Next Up-The Tigers will play next at home on Saturday, October 7th at 5:00 PM against the College of Wooster.
