Men's Soccer Topples Terriers From The Road

Hiram, OH - The Tigers stormed into Hiram looking to get back on the winning side, and after an excellent offensive and defensive performance, defeating the Terriers, 4-0. The Tigers have now won 7 of their last 8 contests. Wittenberg improves to 7-3-1 on the season and 2-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference play.

The Tigers started the game fast, with an Aaron Craddock goal in the 32nd second of play, finding the bottom right of the goal. After great goalkeeping from Sam Nitzberg through the next 30 minutes of play, the Tigers blew the game open after three quick goals within the span of 5 minutes of play, with two coming from Kees Ciric along with a one from Nick Harding.

The second half was a stalemate, with Sam Nitzberg again shutting out the Terriers, having a total number of three saves. The defense was strong the entire match, with the Terriers able to only get four shots off the entire game.

The Tigers are back in action October 11th, 2022 as they take on the Scots of Wooster and look to continue to build a winning record within the NCAC.
