Springfield, OH- The Tigers took their six-game winning streak into a home matchup for Homecoming weekend against the Denison Big Red, however the Tigers fell by a final score of 4-0.

The Tigers and Big Red both came out and had opportunities early, with the offensive attack being led by a great run from Charlie Boucuvalas that ended up in a corner kick opportunity for the Tigers offense. Wittenberg forced the Big Red goalkeeper to stay on his toes, with four shots on target for the first 45 minutes of play. Goalkeeper Cooper Robertson, returning in net, started strong, moving around the field and adding a save to his stats.

The Big Red started the second half fast, scoring their first goal within the first minute of play. After continued great play from the Deninson offense, and a Tigers offense that struggled to find a rhythm, the Big Red were able to pull away in the second half, finishing the game with a final score of 4-0.

The Tigers are back in action October 8th at Hiram to take on the Terriers.
