Tigers Face Loss In OT

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg men's soccer faced off against Wooster on Edwards-Maurer Field. The Tigers faced tough competition against the 6-7 Scots. Both teams played a fast pace and aggressive game.

Wittenberg's Ross Angelo was able to get the first goal of the game at 20:07 and the Tigers were able to hold Wooster scoreless until the second half. Wooster was able to tie the score 1-1 in the second half. The Scotts continued to shoot in hopes of avoiding overtime but Wittenberg's Cooper Robertson and the defense stopped every attempt and the teams headed into overtime. Wooster was able to score in overtime to end the game 2-1. Cooper Robertson led both teams in saves with 6.  

Up Next: The Tigers will be back in Crawfordsville, IN to take on Wabash in a conference match-up on Tuesday, October 22nd.
