Springfield, OH- The Wittenberg Tigers met the out of state Tigers of DePauw under the lights on Edwards-Maurer Field. DePauw came into the match with a leg up and an 8-4 record.

DePauw was able to control the ball in the midfield and were able to get shots off early in the first half but Wittenberg's Cooper Robertson had two crucial saves to kill the DePauw momentum. A strong Wittenberg defense contained DePauw and both teams went into the half at 0-0.

Wittenberg's defense held strong into the second half until DePauw was able to score at 52:07 to bring the score to 1-0. Wittenberg was able to capitalize after a DePauw error bringing the score to 1-1 at 70:46. The match went into overtime and Wittenberg's Ross Angelo was able to turn a chaotic scene in front of the net into a goal to end the game with Wittenberg up 2-1.
