Wittenberg Struggles on the Road, 4-0 Loss

Granville, Ohio - The Wittenberg men's soccer team was unable to move offensively against the Big Red on the road on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers fall, 4-0, to Denison with only four conference contests left in the regular season.

The Tigers couldn't hold an advantage in both shots, 22-7, and corner kick opportunities, 10-4. Roth Susemichel recorded the teams only shot on goal for the night while five other Tigers attempted a shot. The Big Red made the best of their scoring opportunities with four goals on nine shots on goal. Rookie Jason Bowen clocked 71 minutes in goal, recording only one save in that time. Meanwhile, Harrison Vantilburg made his second appearance in goal of the 2018 season, tallying four saves to his name.
