Springfield, Ohio – The Wittenberg men's soccer team picked up their first win of the 2018 season, taking down Muskingum University 2-0. The Tigers jumped out to an early lead before the half. Alberto Zaragoza found some open space in the 18th minute and beat the Muskie keeper to put the Tigers on top early.
GAME BREAKDOWN
- Playing with an early lead, the Tigers continued on to play shutout soccer for ninety minutes.
- Will Stephens would find Evan Dinopoulos for the second Wittenberg goal in the 37th minute.
- Zaragoza would lead the charge taking six shots, placing four on target. Julian Gonzalez took four shots with one on target.
