Late Goal Lifts Tigers Past Wooster

Springfield, Ohio – The Wittenberg men's soccer team closed out the triple-header of action from Edwards-Maurer Field on Saturday, taking down NCAC rival Wooster 1-0 in dramatic fashion. As no love was lost between the two sides, with 18 fouls and six cautions were issued through ninety minutes of action. Jacob Snowden came up with the first and final goal for the Tigers putting back a shot the Wooster keeper was unable to coral, as seven seconds remained in the game. While Wittenberg remains unbeaten at home in four games on the season, which includes a streak of the past three games.
