Tigers Get Back in Win Column Behind Yokum’s OT Goal

OLIVET, Michigan—Wittenberg men's soccer got back in the win column on Sunday evening, as the Tigers needed an overtime to drop the Comets of Olivet College. The first 90 minutes were not enough for the Tigers and Comets, as an overtime period needed to be played as the two teams were deadlocked at 0-0 after regulation. In the 98th minute, Wittenberg found the back of the net as a shot off the foot of Andrew Yokum scorched the back of the Comets net. Setting Yokum up for the shot was Jake Rubin, who earned an assist on the play.
