Tiger Men’s Soccer Announces Recruits In Class of 2018

Springfield, Ohio — Wittenberg University Men’s Soccer Head Coach Steve Dawson has announced that 17 student-athletes will join the Tiger program in August 2014. 

The new recruits join a team that 6-11-1 overall and 2-7-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) a year ago. The Tigers finished seventh in the league’s 2013 regular season standings. 

Wittenberg is expected to return 17 letterwinners to the roster in 2014, including a pair of All-NCAC performers in sophomore defender Tucker Stas (Bexley, Ohio/Bexley) and sophomore forward Josh Marks (Bushey, England). The Tigers are scheduled to open the 2014 campaign with a game Aug. 29 at Washington & Jefferson.

  • Josh McErlean (Columbus, Ohio/Westerville South)
  • Andrew Yokum (Waterville, Ohio/Anthony Wayne)
  • Daniel Roberts (Findlay, Ohio/Van Buren)
  • Reed Gibson (DeGraff, Ohio/St. Paris Graham)
  • Alex Benoit (Centerville, Mass./Tabor Academy)
  • Jacob Haas (Trenton, Ohio/Edgewood)
  • David Jackson (College Park, Ga./Westwood)
  • Nick Foley (Fishers, Ind./Cathedral)
  • Robby Frye (Loveland, Ohio/Kings)
  • Ty Beatty (Pickerington, Ohio/Community School)
  • Jerrson Pachar (Elk Grove Village, Ill./Elk Grove)
  • Jonathan Robinson (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson)
