Jay Owen was named the sixth head coach in program history in August 2013.
Wittenberg Career
- Owen holds a career record of 65-72, with a conference tally of 40-32
- NCAC Coach of the Year | 2017
- Since heading up the Red and White, Owen has coached 27 Tigers to All-NCAC honors, as well as 19 players earning NCAC Academic Honor Roll awards.
- Two Tigers (Aaron Blossey & David Strahm) earned First Team All-Region honors under Owen's guidance in 2017.
- Under Jay Owen's tutelage, one Tiger (Sean Kelleher) earned an invitation to the Division III North-South All-Star Game.
Previous coaching experience
- Spent the previous 15 seasons at Salisbury University.
- Won five NCAA Division III National Championships.
- Involved in all aspects of the Salisbury program, with a primary focus on the defense.
