Delaware, OH- The Tigers headed to Delaware, OH to take on Ohio Wesleyan in their second conference match-up of the year. Wittenberg had a challenge in front of them with the preseason NCAC number two ranked Battling Bishops. The Tigers were unable to improve their conference record after falling 25-8.

Wittenberg was able to get points on the board in each quarter with Ben Holland and Nathan Brown leading the way with two goals each. Also scoring for the Tigers were Zach Busby, Noah Mackin, Mitchell Steinker, and Connor Matthews. The Red & White had three of their goals from assists. Tallying assists on the day were Matthews, Travis Demsher, and James Fuller. As a team Wittenberg grabbed 35 ground balls, went 18-35 in face-offs, 14-19 in clear attempts, and 2-5 in extra man opportunities.

Wittenberg Leaders- The Tigers had six different individuals score, being led by Ben Holland and Nathan Brown with two goals each. Max Schillig led in ground balls picking up five on the day. On the face-off for Wittenberg was Max Schillig with 14 wins on the day. Splitting time in goal for Wittenberg were Brandon Shevins with 14 saves after facing 20 shots on goal and Jimmy Pedersen.

NCAC Leaders- Wittenberg has four guys in the top ten for statistics in the NCAC. Ben Holland is tied at number five in the conference for goals with 16. Holland and Noah Mackin land in the top ten for assisted on the season with Holland leading the way at number six and Mackin at nine. The offensive duo continues to lead the NCAC in points with Holland at number four and Mackin at number ten. In face-off success, Luke Stanfield lands at number nine going 51-101. On the defensive end, Mario Lorelli lands at number three in the NCAC for caused turnovers with 18 on the season. (All statistics are based prior to today's match-up.
