Tiger Men's Lacrosse Drops 13-9 Bout to Wooster as Andrew Fuss Snaps Points Record

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio—Wittenberg men's lacrosse honored the class of 2016 seniors on Saturday before the NCAC game, but the Tigers fell short to visiting Wooster 13-9 in the game. While the result was not what Wittenberg was hoping for, this year's class of seniors is anything short of stellar, as these nine young men have lead on and off the field for the Tigers in there for year careers. Despite dropping the game, senior Andrew Fuss (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) etched his name in the record books on Saturday, as his three points in the form of two goals and one assist give him 171 points in his Tiger career, snapping the all-time record. The NCAC loss puts the Tigers at a 7-6 mark overall, and a 3-4 record in NCAC play in 2016.
