PONTIAC, Mich. - Things looked bleak for the Wittenberg men's lacrosse team, which trailed Aurora 9-5 at the end of the third quarter. That's when the Tigers caught fire, scoring six goals in the final frame - with the last tally coming inside the final three seconds to complete a stunning 11-10 come-from-behind victory.

Originally scheduled for Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Ind., the neutral site game was moved to Ultimate Soccer in Pontiac, Mich., due to weather concerns. The win moved the Tigers to 3-0 on the young 2014 season, while Aurora fell to a hard-luck 0-3, including a 7-5 loss to Wittenberg's North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) rival Ohio Wesleyan.

A pair of underclassmen played key roles in the Wittenberg victory, starting with freshman goalkeeper Aaron Blossey (Rocky River, Ohio/Rocky River), who saw his first extended collegiate action in the fourth quarter. He allowed just one goal in a little more than six minutes en route to his first career goalkeeping win.

At the other end, sophomore Thomas Fuss (New Albany, Ohio/Gahanna Lincoln) scored the game-winning goal with just 2.8 seconds left on the clock.
