Tiger Men’s Lacrosse To Host Golf Outing, Tailgating Event April 12

Springfield, Ohio – Wittenberg University’s men’s lacrosse program will host a golf outing and tailgating event to raise funds for the program, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at Locust Hills Golf Club in Springfield. 

The golf outing is a four-person scramble. The cost of participation is $100 per person, which includes golf with a cart and a box lunch served to participants at the end of the round. Hole sponsorships are also available for $150. A portion of the sponsorships are tax deductible. 

After the golf outing, a tailgate party will be held prior to the Tigers’ key North Coast Athletic Conference game against Denison at Edwards-Maurer Field. The tailgate will take place from 5-7 p.m., and the opening face-off between the Tigers and Big Red is scheduled for 7 p.m.

In addition to the golf outing, the men’s lacrosse program is welcoming members into the Wittenberg Men’s Lacrosse Tiger Club, which provides financial resources to support the program, including facility upgrades, coaching positions and equipment.
