The Wittenberg men's lacrosse team ended the season with a fourth straight loss, this one coming at the hands of North Coast Athletic Conference tri-champion Wooster on Saturday. The loss dropped the Tigers to 4-12 overall after earlier completing a 2-3 NCAC campaign.

Against Wooster, sophomore Cory Windle (Columbus, Ohio/Worthington Kilbourne) finished with three goals to run his season total to 30. He was tied for team honors in goals and led the team with 48 total points. After playing the Scots tough in the first half and trailing just 5-2 at halftime, the Tigers couldn't keep pace in the final 30 minutes. Wooster scored four unanswered in the third quarter and outscored Wittenberg 8-2 in the second half overall.

For the season, Wittenberg's record is truly deceiving. The Tigers were only outscored 175-159, and Wittenberg actually outscored its foes in two of the quarters cumulatively. Just two of the team's 12 losses were by more than five goals, and three were by one goal.

Senior Hans Rydquist (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) was second on the team with 46 points and tied for first in goals with 30. Both Rydquist and Windle ranked among the NCAC leaders in both categories. Four Tiger players finished with 39 or more points: Rydquist, Windle, freshman Adam Morrison (Columbus, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) with 43 points, including a team-leading 21 assists and freshman Sammy Hong (Dublin, Ohio/Worthington Kilbourne), who had 28 goals and 11 assists for 39 total points.

Senior Kyle Prussing (Concord, Mass./Concord-Carlisle) was the mainstay in goal for the Tigers as he started all 16 games. His save percentage was an outstanding .575.
