Jay Tilton joined the Tiger coaching staff in 2004.

Tilton was a four-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference player at Ohio Wesleyan while helping the team to conference championships in three of the four seasons in which he played. His career highlight was capturing medalist honors at the NCAC Championship in 2003, an achievement that played a role in earning Tilton a spot on the NCAC All-Decade Team in 2003. Tilton played in four national championships during his collegiate career at Ohio Wesleyan, helping his team to finishes of 16th, 12th, 7th and 3rd in his respective years. As a senior, Tilton was further honored with All-America status, based on his individual finish in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Since graduation in 2003 with a degree in economics management, Tilton has been working as a financial professional with the Stacy Financial Group.
