Tiger Men's Golf Finishes 1st at Ted Barclay Invitational

Granville, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger Men's Golf team captured their first win of the 2023-24 season. Joshua Wright and Mark Sulek led the field after day one, both shooting a 68 while J.F. Aber followed up with a 69. Aber stayed consistent and finished with another 69 on day two to secure first place in the tournament with a 6 under par total of 138.

Wright finished with a 3-under 141, good enough for second and Sulek had a total of 142 for 2 under par and finished in a tie for 3rd. Also finishing in the top ten was Austin Georger, who finished tied for 6th.

  • Georger carded rounds of of 74 and 72 for a total of 146
  • Jake Yarbrough finished T22, carding rounds of 76 and 77 for a 153
  • Nicklaus Pidgeon competed individually and carded a 73 and 76 for a 149, good enough for T12

Wittenberg will take the month of September to prepare for the O'Brian Jensen Invite in Greensboro, NC on October 2nd and 3rd.
