Tigers Take Third At NCAC Championships

Mansfield, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger Men's Golf team closed out their season from the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships held at the Westbrook Country Club. Wittenberg secured a third-place finish, posting rounds of 302, 303 and 322 for a 927 (+63) through three rounds. The Tigers secured three top 10 finishes, with JF Aber and Matthew Mattioli claiming T5 finishes over the weekend. Evan DiSanto earned a 10th place finish amongst the field of 45 competitors.

Aber posted rounds of 73-76-79 on his way to a 54-hole score of 228 (+12). Playing in his first NCAC Championships, Mattioli posted a three-day score of 228 (+12) with scores of 77-69-82. Both Aber and Mattioli would earn First Team All-NCAC for their top five finish. DiSanto earned Second Team All-NCAC honors with rounds of 74-76-81, finishing with a 54-hole score of 231 (+15). Nicklaus Pidgeon made his way into the top 25, finishing in 24th with a total score of 241 (+25). Pidgeon carded rounds of 79-82-80.
