Hershey, Pennsylvania – The fourth-ranked Wittenberg University Men's Golf team made the trip to central Pennsylvania over the last two days (April 7-8) and didn't disappoint as the Tigers brought home the team title at the annual Hershey Cup, played at the historic par-71, 6,605-yard Hershey Country Club in Hershey.

The Tigers topped the 15-team field with a combined score of 592 (295-297), which was 18 strokes better than the duo of No. 8 Carnegie Mellon and Piedmont that tied for second with 610 strokes each.

The Tigers dominance over the two days of action showed in the individual standings as four of the five scoring golfers finished in the top-10 in the 84-golfer field, led by junior Cameron Willis finishing in a tie for second with Gettysburg's Daniel Harcourt with a four-over par score of 146. Willis fired an even-par 71 in Sunday's opening round, before carding a four-over 75 on Monday to earn the runner-up finish. Over the course of the two-day event, Willis finished with five birdies and 22 pars.

After struggling in the opening round with a seven-over 78, senior Cooper Taylor posted the low round of the tournament on Monday with a two-under 69 to leap up into fourth place in the individual standings with a total score of 147. Junior Ryan Mallette played consistently over the two days to finish as part of a three-way tie for sixth with a 36-hole score of 149 (73-76), while senior Colin Laszlo tied for ninth with Carnegie Mellon's Jason Folker after finishing the event with 150 strokes (73-77).

Finally, senior Isaac Hartley finished as part of a six-way tie for 27th with a combined score of 156 (79-77).

The Tigers will remain close to home for their next tournament as they travel to Heatherwoode G.C. in Springboro, Ohio, next weekend for the Wright State Invitational (Apr. 14-15).
