Wittenberg Leads NCAA Championship After 54 Holes

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Florida—Wittenberg men's golf fired a third-round 299 on Thursday, as the Tigers made their move, claiming the top spot atop the leaderboard amongst the 18 teams remaining. Wittenberg jumped up to first place after Cameron Willis and Garrett Brickley fired rounds of three-over 75 on the day.

Willis still sits towards the top of the individual leaderboard, as the freshman sits two-over for the tournament, good enough for third place. Willis also finds himself one stroke behind Sam Hill and Brad Lankler, who lead the tournament at one-over.

Brickley continued to trend upward for Wittenberg, as the senior is currently T6 with Addison Lambeth of Huntingdon, who came into the day leading the tournament. Brickley currently stands three-over for the tournament, with one decisive round waiting for the Tigers.
