PINE MOUNTAIN, Georgia—Wittenberg men's golf produced a ninth place finish at the Callaway Gardens Intercollegiate over the weekend. The Tigers finished +32 as a team at the Mount View Par 72 course, as Wittenberg was led by Isaac Hartley. Hartley carded rounds of back-to-back 74's to finish the tournament tied for tenth place.
The Tigers 608 as a team featured Garrett Brickley tied for 21st, Sam Stilwell tied for 32nd, Mark David Wright tied for 48th, and Brennan Whitis tied for 91st.
Wittenberg finished four strokes ahead of Methodist University, and two strokes behind Centre College on the weekend. Emory came out on top of the leaderboard, carding a 596 as a team, while Lagrange College and Oglethrope finished second and third.
The Tigers return to action on March 9 at the Members Invitational, hosted by the Golf Club of Indigo Run at Hitlon Head Island, South Carolina.
