#5 Men's Golf Takes Home Second-Place Honors at NCAA Division III Preview

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Florida—Wittenberg men's golf took home another second place team finish after closing out the NCAA Division III Fall Preview on Tuesday. In an 18-team field with 16 nationally ranked teams, the Tigers carded rounds of 281, 312, and 296 for a 25 over 889. Huntingdon College finished atop the leaderboard in Florida, after the Hawks carded a four-over 868.

The fifth ranked Tigers were paced by Sam Stilwell who finished in sixth place on Tuesday, carding rounds of 71, 73, and 75. Stilwell was seven strokes off the leader, Will Thrash, who finished four-under in the tournament.

 Isaac Hartley finished tied for 15th for Wittenberg, after opening up the Division III Preview with a round of 67. Hartley followed up his hot start with rounds of 82 and 74 to finish seven-over.
 Colin Laszlo carded another low opening round for Wittenberg, finishing with a 69 to open up the tournament. Laszlo would go on to finish nine over after recording scores of 82 and 74.
 

Wittenberg returns to action on September 25 and 26 at the Gordin Collegiate Classic at Delaware Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio.
