Matt Croci, an All-American basketball player and 1994 graduate of Wittenberg, joins the Tiger coaching staff for the 2012-13 season.  Croci brings with him fourteen years of college coaching experience, including assistant coaching stints at Capital University and Mary Washington College, followed by seven years as the head coach at fellow NCAC institution Kenyon College from 2003 through 2010.

Under Croci’s direction, Kenyon's record improved for five consecutive seasons, and Croci's work was recognized with NCAC Coach of the Year honors in 2008.  Croci, a 2005 Wittenberg Athletic Hall of Honor inductee, was a member of Tiger teams that compiled an overall four-year record of 98-14.  During his senior year in 1993-94, Wittenberg set a school record for wins (30) and became the only team in school history to go undefeated during the regular season.

Croci and his wife, Patrice, also a Wittenberg alumnus, are the parents of three children, Sophia, Cecilia and Cameron.
