Springfield native Bob Cawley has served more than 14 seasons as an assistant coach with the Tiger program. Cawley has been an integral part of the Tiger program under head coaches Larry Hunter, Dan Hipsher and now Bill Brown. Prior to joining the Tiger coaching staff, Cawley served as the head basketball coach at Urbana University for eleven years. Cawley graduated from The Ohio State University in 1967 and was boy's basketball coach at Franklin Heights High School for seven years. Cawley and his wife, Betty, are the parents of two daughters.
