    Assistant Coach
  • Previous College:
    Wittenberg, 2005

Andy Bucheit joins the Wittenberg men’s basketball coaching staff as a volunteer in 2005 after a tremendously successful four-year run with the Tigers on the court.

Bucheit, who graduated from Wittenberg in May 2005 with a degree in communication, is one of the finest three-point shooters in school history. A four-year letterwinner, Bucheit primarily did his damage off the bench during his career. But as a starter in all 29 games as a senior, Bucheit led the Tigers and ranked among the best in the NCAC with 79 three-pointers while averaging 11.8 points per game en route to second-team All-NCAC honors.

Wittenberg posted a phenomenal 95-19 record during Bucheit’s four-year career, which he finished with 951 points. The Tigers won two NCAC regular season titles, one NCAC Tournament crown and made three NCAA Division III Tournament appearances during his career.
