Former Wittenberg head men's basketball coach Larry Hunter passed away peacefully this morning around 11:00 am at WakeMed Cary Hospital, in Cary North Carolina. Hunter, 68, had been in the hospital after suffering a massive stroke.
Tim Kremchek, ‘81 (and his wife, Hilary, ‘82) have issued a challenge to the Wittenberg Athletic Department. If we can get 220 donors and raise alumni participation by 1%, by April 25, they will give a gift of $25,000 to the athletic department.
Wittenberg senior post player Chad Roy was named to D3hoops.com’s All-America team as a member of the 2018 Fourth Team. The Toledo, Ohio native becomes Wittenberg’s 28th All-American in program history.

Roy’s most important bucket came early on in the game, as the senior netted a layup to make him the 33rd Tiger men’s basketball player to record 1,000 points in his career.
