Tigers Make it Five-Straight with Rout of Oberlin

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio—Wittenberg hoops utilized a 12-0 run early on Saturday to blow past Oberlin at home to make it five straight wins. Wittenberg saw four players score in double-digits after a Kenyon game on Wednesday night that saw five players in double-figures. Wittenberg dished out 21 assists on Saturday, as season high, after dishing out 11 on Wednesday to make it 32 assists in the back-to-back wins this week. Offensively the Tigers were too much to handle for the Yeomen, as Wittenberg was lead by Cody Phillippi who netted 16 points on 50% shooting from the field.  The win not only makes it five straight for the Tigers, but the team now moves to 15-6 and 9-5 in 2016-17.
